A quick and refreshing iced latte recipe featuring two shots of espresso poured over ice and milk, with optional sweetener to taste. Perfect for a delicious, chilled coffee drink in just minutes.

Ingredients

Coffee

  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces, hot or cold brewed)

Other

  • 1 cup ice
  • 3/4 cup milk (any variety)
  • Optional sweetener of choice like honey or agave syrup

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso: Brew 2 shots of espresso using an espresso machine or a strong coffee maker to produce a concentrated coffee base.
  2. Assemble the drink: Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice. Pour the freshly brewed espresso over the ice, then add 3/4 cup of your preferred milk variety. If desired, add sweetener such as honey or agave syrup to taste.
  3. Mix and chill: Stir the mixture thoroughly to combine the ingredients and chill the drink evenly, resulting in a smooth and refreshing iced latte.

Notes

  • Use any type of milk based on preference, including dairy or plant-based alternatives like almond, oat, or soy milk.
  • Adjust sweetness according to taste; you can omit sweetener for a less sweet drink.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso.
  • Cold brewed espresso can be used for a smoother, less acidic taste.
  • Use a tall glass to accommodate the ice and milk without overflowing.
